The winegrowers’ cooperative
Distinct individuality
Our winegrowers’ cooperative consists of the winegrowers and the employees of the Winzergenossenschaft Königschaffhausen-Kiechlinsbergen eG. 150 winemaking families are members of our cooperative. Therefore, we are able to bundle our forces like a multi-family winery.
Our members cultivate around 370 ha of vineyard area in the best sites with great dedication and passion. Typical for Baden, our focus concerning the grape varieties is on Pinots, especially Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris.
The grapes for our premium wines of the series “Selection” and “Vintage Best” are chosen from vines in selected vineyard parcels. Long-established tradition and experience in the production of sweet wines and wines ripened in oak barrels let us become one of the leading manufacturers concerning these specialities.
Nonetheless, we are open-minded towards new findings in the fields of viticulture and vinification. For this reason, wines made out of international grape varieties like Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot complement our product range.
Our customers appreciate the high quality of the red and white wines from Königschaffhausen and Kiechlinsbergen. It is confirmed by national and international wine awards again and again.
Our common goal is the production of high-quality wines made from the grapes of our members and to maintain their profitability in order to provide pleasure to many people.
